Greater Coat of Arms of Acernia

I am starting a whole new series of maps, flags and CoAs. This time it happens in an alternate reality, similar to ours. So, there will be a big bunch of interesting countries and they will have some history. And yes, one more thing, because I am interested about animals, that have lived millions of years before us, and what are now just fossils. So, in this reality, there will be many many interesting animals, and I will also use them in my art. So yes, this will be something very very interesting!

We start with state called Acernia (actually means "maple" in Latin). And that tree is also in their CoA. Their national animal is Anisodon, huge mammal living on Earth 56 million - 800,000 years ago. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anisodon ) It was very fun to draw this awesome creature! Also those maple leaves were very interesting to draw, but feeling what I got when this was ready was just... Awesome! Hmm... And the motto, "Foliorum Nunquam Cadet" means "The Leaves Shall Never Fall" in Latin. Well, hope you like this CoA, because I really think this is my very very best one!
